Savannah Bowdoin

Hey, there! We’re so glad you’re here. I’m a firm believer that bringing people together is one of the greatest gifts you can give, and what a privilege that, as wedding and event planners, it’s our job to do so. Where I come from in small town Florida, it’s “yes, ma’am” and “no, sir,” your real friends never use the front door, and no one’s a stranger for very long! Hospitality is a virtue that is ingrained and passed down from generation to generation.

Inspired by nature & interior design

I use texture as a driving force in my work as an event planner and designer.

I love the creative challenge that comes with building a cohesive experience from the first moment your guests hear about your event to their final moments with you on the dance floor.

From inception to completion, we are here to bring your vision to life in ways you didn’t know were possible. More than that, we’re here to make you feel well taken care of along the way.

Florida Born & Raised

With over a decade of experience in event planning and nine years specifically in the wedding industry, our owner and founder, Savannah Bowdoin, will be at the helm of your planning journey. Known for pushing vendors out of their comfort zones and into fresh ideas, her thoughtful designs and warm personality keep our planning partners excited to come back for more, client after client.

A sixth generation Floridian, Savannah was born and raised in the small town of Lake City before attending the University of Florida and earning a Bachelors Degree in hospitality and event planning, with a specialization in private events and a minor in leadership. After graduation, she packed her bags and moved to Washington, DC to work with a boutique event planning company. There, the two women who have been her greatest mentors in this industry taught her that it doesn’t matter how aesthetically pleasing your design is if the logistics behind it aren’t planned out and executed properly. After you have the moving pieces flying in formation, then you can delight in the details. Savannah now resides in Gainesville, Florida, but you’ll most often find her traveling for destination weddings or her next hiking trip.

Our work is nearly entirely destination-based, and we thrive working in fresh venues and spaces.

In the past few seasons alone, events have taken us around the United States and across the pond:

Lake Como, Crete, Austin, San Francisco, Washington DC, Atlanta, Charleston, Sarasota, Longboat Key, Tampa, Ponte Vedra Beach, Miami, St. Augustine, Dahlonega, and Whitefish. In the year to come, we’re excited to be planning in Cashiers, Naples, and Santorini.

the story Behind our logo A nod to our Florida roots and a leisurely way of life in the Sunshine State.

CJ Lotz, a writer for Garden & Gun, put it best: “To sit in a rattan chair is, in fact, to sit in the arms of a palm frond.” Our logo is inspired by a quintessentially-Florida texture that Savannah has throughout her home and in many designs: the ever-classic woven cane pattern. Cane is the outer "bark" of the rattan tree and is created by peeling off the top layer of the rattan vine.

Our brand’s logo is one square of the beloved pattern, symbolizing our part in weaving together not only the many elements of a private event, but additionally acknowledging the role we play in weaving together the lives of our clients as they bring their families together through marriage and celebration.
