Just steps away from where they will build their forever home, Blair and Houston committed their lives to each other under the branches of a wise, old Oak and in the presence of their closest loved ones. Equal parts romantic and rugged, their day was a nod to their Western heritage and to the life they have created together—a life that is full of simple joys, fresh air, and a whole lot of laughter.

High Springs, Florida

The couple said their vows in front of 18 guests on their own property, just outside of High Springs and just across the street from Blair’s family farm. Following the ceremony, their loved ones made their way to The Opera House at The Great Outdoors Restaurant, a staple in the small town. Guests enjoyed appetizers and cocktails before Blair and Houston joined them for an intimate dinner. The group dined at a 24-feet king’s table soaked in candlelight and adorned with a stunning runner of dried florals in an Ikebana-inspired approach, fitting for the day, as this Japanese art of flower arranging is about more than simply style—it’s an intentional approach that is said to “help one develop a closeness with nature and merge the indoors and outdoors.”
